Lasha Arveladze is a distinguished arbitration counsel and expert with 24 years of experience in both public and private law at national and international levels. He has provided expert consultation on complex corporate matters, encompassing international and domestic business transactions, project finance, energy deals, FIDIC construction matters, and oil and gas related PSA transactions. His expertise also extends to mergers and acquisitions, PPP transactions, rehabilitation, insolvency issues. He has acted as counsel in commercial arbitrations under the SCC, LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL, rules and the rules of several Georgian arbitration institutes. He has represented the Georgian State in a number of investment arbitrations under ICSID and UNCITRAL rules and has also advocated for clients before Georgian courts at all levels, alongside accepting appointments as arbitrator. Lasha previously served as the Head of the Department for State Representation in Arbitration and Foreign Courts within the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. He accepts appointments as arbitrator.
