Saniya specializes in enforcement of intellectual property, data protection, and IT law. Saniya joined the TKL team in December 2020. Saniya has previously completed internships in the legal departments of EY Kazakhstan and PwC Kazakhstan.

Saniya takes an active part in projects concerning copyright and trademark enforcement, as well as patent litigation, including complex disputes on patent invalidation. Saniya participates in drafting and preparation of all procedural documents for various IP disputes. Saniya is regularly involved in disputes with state authorities under the procedures of the recently introduced Administrative Procedural Code.

Saniya advises clients on issues related to data protection and e-commerce. Her recent projects include the development of a privacy policy for a major Kazakhstan-based electronics and technology retail chain, as well as the development of user agreement for the mobile app (a marketplace of entertainment services and various products).
